Latchi

Latchi is a small fishing village in the Bay of Chrysochoos. Over the last few years the fishing port has been expanded and a large section of it is used as a marina There are several hotels and holiday apartments in the area and many good seafood restaurants along the seafront.

It is a good base to explore the natural beauty of the area.

Baths of Aphrodite

A few km from Latchi, at the beginning of Akamas. This is the grotto where the goddess Aphrodite would bathe to rinse of the salt after her swim in the sea.

Akamas

Akamas is the NW peninsula of Cyprus. It is a beautiful unspoilt area with stunning scenery. It hosts a unique variety of flora and fauna, small beaches and sea caves. This is an area one must explore. From the Baths of Aphrodite there are 2 nature trails which take you into Akamas - about 7.5 km each.
