You will find Akrotiri Bay on the Eastern side of Cape Gata, offering protection from W and N winds.

Here is Ladies Mile Beach, Limassolians favourite beach. It is a very long stetch of sand with nothing but a few restaurants and watersports along it. If you visit during the weekend it will be packed but if you come during the week then you can truly enjoy the beach and the area. It is also a popular spot for windsurfers as the sea is quite calm even when windy.

The area has remained unspoilt and has a salt lake where wild ducks, swans and flamigoes pass through while immigrating.

At the end of the beach you will find barbed wire marking the beginning of the British military bases.
